ABOUT
Aishwarya Kumar is an international writer at ESPN.com in Bristol, CT. She graduated with a masters degree from Medill School of Journalism in August 2016. Highlights of her journalism career: Covering South Africa vs Australia ODI at Wanderers in Johannesburg, working with her mentor, Melissa Isaacson, during the 2017 Boston Marathon, watching the Indian cricket team from the press box in Florida, traveling to New York to talk to M.S. Dhoni about his upcoming biopic movie, producing shows for the NFL draft, running up to talk to players at the Redskins training camp, and watching Hillary Clinton give her historic acceptance speech at the DNC.

Originally from Chennai, India, she's lived in Chicago, Washington D.C., Johannesburg and Bristol (Connecticut) in the last two years. She moves a lot, the move from India to Chicago being the biggest one so far. She enjoys Indian street food and playing badminton.
